The Streetknit Project

WHO DO THEY HELP?

  • People who are homeless during the winter and fall months, and at risk of freezing to death.

WHAT DO THEY DO?
  • Give knitted clothing (sweaters, hats, mittens, socks, scarfs) and blankets to homeless people during the winter.
  • Each fall, they distribute knitted clothing to outreach programs including: Windfall Clothing, St. Francis Table, Scott Mission, Parkdale Community Health Centre, PARC, and Out of the Cold.
